Sikhlens Patrons’ Night – THURS, NOV 21
Leatherby Libraries and Fish Interfaith Center – Chapman University.
California, USA
It was an incredible evening celebrating Sikh culture, with over 200 invited guests worldwide in attendance. The opening of the 120-day art exhibition, followed by a wonderful dinner and festivities, truly highlighted the strong partnership and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives at Chapman University.
Great to have delivered several activities at Chapman University. Hosted by MC Pavneet Mac. Opening remarks by President Daniele Struppa and Dean Kevin Ross. With an additional talk by Sim Hothi and update on an exciting new film on the Turban and Hijab by Essraa Nawar.
Started off with Gurinder Singh Mann delivering a lecture on the Anglo Sikh Museum. Followed by the launch of the Sikh Museum Initiative calendar and the launch of the exhibition at Leatherby Library.
Also showcased the Virtual Museum on a super large screen. Great to have discussions with participants and also meet members of the SikhNet team.
It was a great night of Sikh culture and festivities. Thanks to Bicky Singh, Sikhlens Arts team and Chapman University. Sikhmuseum
